The first time a plant spirit *really* talked to me

GROUNDWATER HEALING &

THE GOLDEN STONE WISDOM SCHOOL

I remember vividly the first time a plant *really* communicated with me.

Meaning, where I felt the unshakable knowing that I couldn't be making this up. Where it was a crystal clear experience happening to me, that felt utterly transformational and important.

17 years ago I was on a solo retreat, realizing that I may have to end the long-term partnership I was in, though I still very much loved this person. I was walking around a tiny pond on the property, hoping for some solace, something to ease my pain.

But I was hysterical, sobbing, unable to sit still. I wanted to run away from myself and my situation.

But there was no where to go. I was alone, on a silent nature retreat, face-to-face with a hard truth I did not want to see.

As I headed back to my cabin, unsure of where to go to get away from myself, I passed by a red clover flower and I heard in my head, “come sit.” I smiled and kept walking, of course believing I was making this up.

I had been studying herbal medicine for 2 years at this point, and had read some about plant spirit medicine. I'd meditated with a few plants, and was starting to sense the energy of them, but I was still doubtful of my ability to actually commune with the plants on this level.

But over my next couple steps around the pond that day, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I needed to go back sit with the red clover flower. So I turned around, walked back, sat down, and said hello, relieved to have another there with me and my pain. I was still very much sobbing at this point.

I closed my eyes, and immediately saw a tiny little faerie with a purple/pink hoop skirt and wand. She was flying around my head, clearing it out, dusting me with white and silver sparkles from her wand.

In just a few minutes, I was changed. I felt calm, at ease, and was finally able to take a deep breath. I felt like I could be present to my situation without wanting to run. The difference in how I felt was so significant I was blown away.

I thanked Red Clover profusely, feeling not only transformed, but like something significant had been awakened in me.

About a year later, I was across the country and enrolled in the Arctos School’s herbal medicine immersion program. We were in a unit on flower essences, and one of the teachers had a large book describing the encyclopedia of remedies.

I instantly remembered my experience with Red Clover and dove into the book, so curious to know what was written about the remedy.

I found Red Clover in there, and read the first line: “A remedy for hysteria.”

These affirmations have continually come my way since, ushering me deeper and deeper on the path of plant consciousness and learning the spiritual ways of the plants.

The plants have continued to not only soothe my pain, but they teach me about myself, illuminate my patterns, show me how to shift my energy, and offer a more vital, connected way of being with myself and the world.

Plant connection is one of the most important, meaningful, and transformational aspects of my life. And it has been through devotion and consistency that I have developed an extensive council of plant allies who I call on for just about every aspect of my life.

Which is why I'm so thrilled to share Plant Spirit Allyship with you.

A course that will guide you to connect to the plants soul-to-soul, and deepen the relationship and magic you already share with them.

Plant Spirit Allyship is a 4 week live, online course, beginning 5/13. (You do not have to join in the live calls, as you will have access to the materials to move through at your own pace if the times don't work.)

Over the 4 weeks you will work with one specific plant ally who calls to you, and you will deepen your relationship through embodied connection, spiritual and magical communion, shamanic journeys, medicine making, and more.

This framework will help you form lasting relationships with any plant going forward, and will help you learn how to build a council of plants to guide you.

If you're feeling the call of the Plants, sign up this week to save 30% ($100 off) the course for early bird.

Come find out which plant spirit has been waiting for you....

In honor of Red Clover + the plant allies,

Amy Terepka

GROUNDWATER HEALING & THE GOLDEN STONE WISDOM SCHOOL Multiple things can be true at once, even seemingly opposing things. And this email is an invitation into living paradox as a spiritual and relational practice. One example of living paradox is Time. In our 3D experience, time is linear, progressive, measurable and predictable. And also, there's extensive evidence in quantum physics that time is an illusion. It's always relative, born of our unique experiences and perceptions. Time isn’t...

GROUNDWATER HEALING & THE GOLDEN STONE WISDOM SCHOOL Hello Shining One, Today is the last day sitting inside the Solstice Portal, where the sun appears to be stationary in the sky for 3 days before initiating the gradual descent towards Winter. This is the time of year when the light reigns most fully, gracing our days with its longest presence. We receive more light right now. Which means we can often see things more clearly, or have something illuminated that once was hidden. Often this...

GROUNDWATER HEALING & THE GOLDEN STONE WISDOM SCHOOL This past weekend I spent the day in the woods with a sweet group of souls connecting with St. John’s Wort, and with the wisdom of the land. It was so sweet, and so good to be in community with heart-felt souls, the plants, and the forces of nature as a balm for these immensely disconcerting times. As I took the medicine of St. John’s Wort into my body, I could first feel the invitation to open my chest, to lay backwards across my sitting...
